Crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and naturally sweetened with ripe bananas.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats (gluten-free if needed)
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

 

  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Blend all ingredients until smooth. Let batter rest 5 mins.
  • Preheat waffle iron; lightly grease. Pour batter and cook until golden (3-4 mins per waffle).

 

  • Serve with fresh berries and extra maple syrup.

Notes

Add chocolate chips or walnuts to the batter for extra texture.
