A warm and melty sandwich made with turkey, Swiss cheese, and Dijon mustard, grilled to golden perfection. A quick and satisfying lunch option.

  • Total Time: 10

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 slices sourdough bread
  • 4 slices turkey breast
  • 2 slices Swiss cheese
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  • Spread Dijon mustard on one side of two slices of bread.
  • Layer two slices of turkey and one slice of Swiss cheese on each piece of bread. Top with the remaining bread slices.
  • Butter the outside of each sandwich.
  • Heat a skillet or panini press over medium heat. Grill the sandwiches for 2-3 minutes on each side (or until golden brown and the cheese is melted).

  • Slice in half and serve warm.

Notes

  • Substitutions:
    • Use whole-grain bread for a healthier option.
    • Replace Swiss cheese with cheddar or provolone for a different flavor.
  • Storage: Best served fresh, but you can refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 1 day. Reheat in a skillet for crispness.

  • Serving Tips: Pair with a side of tomato soup or a small green salad for a complete meal.
