  • 4 ears of corn, cut into thirds
  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
  • 4 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, halved
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pot: In a large pot, fill with water and add the Old Bay seasoning. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  2. Cook the Potatoes: Add the baby potatoes to the boiling water and cook for about 10 minutes.
  3. Add Sausage and Corn: Add the sliced sausage and corn pieces to the pot. Cook for another 5-7 minutes until corn is tender.
  4. Add Shrimp: Stir in the shrimp and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  5. Add Seasoning: Remove from heat, stir in butter and garlic, and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve: Carefully drain the pot and transfer the shrimp boil to a large serving platter or newspaper. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.
