Ingredients

  • 6 cups Rice Krispie cereal
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Cooking spray or butter for greasing the pan

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  2. Melt Butter: In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
  3. Mix in Cereal: Remove from heat and stir in the Rice Krispie cereal, mixing until well coated with the marshmallow mixture.
  4. Press Into Pan: Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Using a greased spatula or your hands, press the mixture firmly into an even layer.
  5. Cool and Cut: Allow to cool for about 30 minutes, then cut into squares and serve.
