- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
- 1/2 cup walnuts or chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
- Mix Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth. Stir in the melted butter. Mix in the baking soda and salt. Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined. Stir in the flour just until incorporated. If using, fold in walnuts or chocolate chips.
- Bake: Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
