Scale
  • 2 large croissants
  • 4 slices ham
  • 2 slices cheddar or Gruyère cheese

  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

Instructions

  • Slice the croissants in half horizontally.
  • Spread Dijon mustard on the bottom half of each croissant.
  • Layer two slices of ham and one slice of cheese on each croissant.
  • Close the croissants and toast in a skillet or oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes, or until the cheese melts.

Notes

  • Substitutions:
    • Use turkey or roast beef instead of ham.
    • Swap Dijon mustard for honey mustard or mayonnaise for a milder flavor.
  • Storage: Best served fresh, but you can refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 1 day. Reheat in the oven for crispness.
